Excellent Thesis

Since 2015, we have been supporting the promotion of young scientists at our institute with the annual “Excellent Thesis of Fraunhofer IWU” award. As numerous topics arise from the diverse research areas, we invite diploma and master's students to write their thesis at our institute.

All graduates who write their thesis during the current calendar year can apply for the current award. The deadline for submissions is December 31 of the current calendar year. The 2024/2025 competition is endowed with 2500 EUR and is sponsored by SCHAEFFLER AG and supported by Porsche Leipzig GmbH.
