Access to Fraunhofer IWU Dresden

By car

• change from motorway A4 at the interchange Dresden-West to motorway A17
• exit the motorway at Dresden-Südvorstadt and go further on the main road B170 in the direction of city center approx. 2 km until the second large intersection with traffic lights
• turn left into Nöthnitzer Straße, following signs for Plauen. The Institute is located on the left hand side after approx. 400 meters.
• coming from the city center follow the sign A17 (B170 – Prag), after the main road B170 has passed the university campus follow signs for Plauen, at the large intersection make a right turn into Nöthnitzer Straße

By train

• from Dresden‘s main railway station by tram line 3 in the direction of Coschütz as far as Nöthnitzer Straße stop, continue on foot (10 minutes) or by bus no. 85 from the Nöthnitzer Straße stop to the Regensburger Straße stop (Journey planner - DVB | Dresdner Verkehrsbetriebe AG)

By car

• change from motorway A4 at the interchange Dresden-West to motorway A17 in the direction of Prague
• at the Dresden-Südvorstadt exit on the B 170 in the direction of Dresden-Zentrum
• after 1.1 km turn left into Stuttgarter Straße and after another 1.7 km turn left into Heilbronner Straße
• after 200 m turn left into Pforzheimer Straße

By bus

• take bus line 366 to the Heilbronner Straße stop (Journey planner - DVB | Dresdner Verkehrsbetriebe AG)
