TRINITY Technology Deep Dive at Fraunhofer IWU

The main objective of TRINITY is to create an international network of digital innovation hubs (DIHs) composed of industrial partners, research centres and universities specialized in advanced robotics and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). The network contributes to novel robotics solutions to increase agility in production by providing a significant number of use cases demonstrating the value of technologies for manufacturing companies.

What is a Deep Dive?

To share existing knowledge about agile manufacturing we invite all partners and interested parties to our E3 research factory in Chemnitz for our Deep Dive. The Deep Dive is a platform to encourage the exchange of knowledge and expertise about agile production in form of speeches and discussions. It is a possibility to learn more about the current fields of research and innovative technologies. We welcome contributions to the Deep Dive, especially from local SME. Furthermore, the Deep Dive will serve as the regional TRINITY kick-off event, since it will be the first TRINITY event in Saxony.

Topics of interest

  • Networked Production: IIoT, integrated sensors and their utilization
  • Smart Production: Value added assembling, smart services and flexible systems
  • Robotized Production: Advanced Robotics and Human-Robot-Interaction
  • Other Enabling Technologies for Agile Manufacturing e.g. Cyber Security,…
