The world of metalworking
Special Exhibition of Industrie 4.0 in Hall 9, Booth F 32
Experts agree: in order to economically manage the increasing variant diversity and product individualization, it is essential to find holistic approaches and to master complex IT-supported production systems. Scientists of Fraunhofer IWU and Chemnitz University of Technology (TU Chemnitz) show how this can be realized by presenting Industrie 4.0 solutions ready for use at the EMO 2019 in Hannover.
From September 16 to 21, 2019 the Chemnitz experts for machine tools and forming technology will present specific applications in a compact format at the EMO, Special Exhibition of Industrie 4.0 in Hall 9, Booth F 32: “Machine 4.0”, which will manufacture live on site, and a “glass machine tool” illustrate the holistic approach for consistent digitization in industrial production. The focus lies on the specific added value. Two operational solutions for process design demonstrate this in particular: SkiveAll for the process of power skiving and a sensorless system for monitoring the path accuracy of machine tools.
